About Me!
Founder of The Listening Tree
Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m deeply passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate the complex paths of grief, trauma, and ADHD. My life has been shaped by profound personal loss, trauma, PTSD, and the everyday realities of living with ADHD. These experiences opened my heart to a deeper purpose: to walk alongside others with empathy, understanding, and hope.
Through my healing journey, I’ve learned that pain doesn’t have to define us — it can transform us. This belief led me to pursue certifications in grief, trauma, ADHD, and life coaching. Today, I use these tools to support others in their unique journeys — creating a space that is gentle, non-judgmental, and deeply compassionate.
One of the greatest joys in my work is helping adult with Grief, Trauma & ADHD. I understand their struggles with focus, emotional regulation, and self-worth. I work closely with them and their families to nurture confidence, build practical skills, and celebrate their unique gifts.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is grief coaching?
Grief coaching is focused on helping individuals build skills and coping mechanisms to help move forward and navigate their life after loss. It allows individuals to shift their grief to a future-focused approach, in order to go forward with their life with intention.
What happens during a grief coaching session?
Each session is tailored to the individual. This can include emotional check ins, goal setting and developing coping strategies for the future.
Is grief coaching covered through insurance?
No. Grief coaching is not covered through insurance as it is not considered a medical service. This means that payment is typically out of pocket.
Are sessions in a group setting or one-on-one?
Typically sessions are one-on-one, however group sessions may be available upon request.
How many sessions will I need?
Grief is unique to the individual. Some individuals may need only a few sessions, while others may need to come more frequently for longer periods of time. Regardless of how many sessions you need, we are here to support you from the beginning until the end!
How do you approach ADHD coaching at The Listening Tree?
ADHD coaching with me is not about trying to “fix” you — it’s about helping you understand how your brain works and how to work with it, not against it. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where we explore structure, motivation, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. Together, we create personalized strategies that fit your life — whether that’s managing overwhelm, building routines, or improving focus.
This is about practical tools, accountability, and learning to honour your unique wiring — not shame it.
What does PTSD coaching look like with you?
PTSD coaching is rooted in safety, gentleness, and gradual movement forward. While I do not offer therapy or clinical treatment, I walk alongside you as you process the impact of trauma. We work on grounding techniques, nervous system regulation, triggers, and daily functioning. My role is to hold space and help you rebuild your sense of agency — one step at a time.
Coaching isn’t about reliving the trauma; it’s about reclaiming your present and learning how to cope with what’s still hard to carry.
What is trauma coaching, and how is it different from counselling?
Trauma coaching supports those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected after painful experiences. I work with you to explore how trauma shows up in your daily life — in relationships, boundaries, self-worth, and emotional responses. We look at what’s hard and develop tools to help you move from surviving to living.
Unlike counselling, coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. I do not diagnose or dig into deep clinical history. Instead, we create a space for you to explore what healing can look like today — and what’s possible tomorrow.
How do you support someone grieving through coaching?
Grief coaching is sacred work. Whether your grief is fresh or years old, I offer a gentle space where nothing is too much or too messy. There is no “right” way to grieve — but there is your way. I help you make room for your emotions, honour your loss, and navigate the waves that come unexpectedly.
This isn’t about “moving on” — it’s about moving with your grief. Together, we find meaning, stability, and even hope — in your time, not on anyone else’s timeline.
How is coaching different from counselling — and what’s your personal journey?
Coaching is not therapy. I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Instead, coaching is a partnership — one where we walk side-by-side. It is practical, compassionate, and deeply human. My approach blends lived experience, certified training, and heart-led guidance. coaching is not covered by Insurance
